It really broke my heart, it reminded of how I went from being a bright kid with so much prospect, to being a dishwasher earning $20 dollars a month with no roof over his head. From the look of things, it seems he was doing pretty well for himself, so maybe he doesn't want to associate with a common dishwasher. It made me so embarrassed, and the way he spoke to me with so much condescension like I was nothing. I even told him my name and all the other details of Law school, in order to juggle his memory but he still acted like he didn't recognized me. I was surprise to see him and I was honestly elated, I went to his table to say hi. ![]() So today, a former classmate from the Law school came by the restaurant where I work. ![]() So I dropped out from the Law school because I couldn't afford it on my own, I moved to a smaller town, where I work now as a dishwasher. In this society being gay is a crime with a steep punishment of 14 years in jail or sometimes a death sentence. They disowned me as result, and stopped sponsoring my education. My parents are very religious and to them being gay is the absolute worse sin. I dropped out when I got outed by my parents pastor as gay. So a little back story, I used to be in the Law school before I dropped out. Today is one of the most humiliating days of my life.
